Cheesemaker's Apprentice

We are looking for a highly motivated cheese lover who would be interested in learning how to make cheese with us. 

Must be able to work independently, and be passionate about small batch artisan cheeses. Duties would involve milk receiving, pasteurizing, pressing, flipping and aging cheeses, LOTS of cleaning and sanitization, in addition to batch tracing, packaging, and paperwork. We are a small scale farm so attention to detail is critical. The right person will be given the opportunity to take have FOOD 1151 and FOOD 2151 dairy processing courses from BCIT to further their career as a cheese maker.

Hours 8am-4pm Wed - Sun

Must be able to lift 40lbs

Must have reliable transport to Salmo
